Washed engine & underneath at carwash,now poor acceleration & rough idle.

DO U HAVE ANY CODES?

DO NOT drive the car with the check engine light blinking,serious damage will occur!have it checked ASAP!you CAN NOT spray these engines down with water like you could in 1975!no telling what is damaged.

What ended up being the issue with your 4runner? My 4runner suddenly has a rough idle, blinking check engine light and no power trying to accelerate. I parked it as soon as it happened, so I am now searching to see what the cause might be. Your post is almost identical except that I haven't washed it recently, except or a drive through wash a couple weeks ago.
