What to about car alarm going off intermittently with nothing around the car?

Parked in carport as usual. Alarmed car as usual. Alarm went off for 30 sec. Unalarmed car and stood there looking at it. After 5 min car alarmed itself and then the alarm went off. Nobody touched it or the key. Thigh appended 4 times. I moved the car to the other side of the property and alarmed it. So far it has been quiet.
