Maint REQD light willn't go off. I tried resetting it per the owners manual

change oil first,before turning off the light,that is why it is on,letting you know its time to change the oil. With the ignition off, push and hold the trip reset button. While holding the trip reset button turn on the ignition and look for five dotted lines. When the five dotted lines disappear you can release the trip button and the maint reqd indicator will clear.

IF answer 1 doesn't work(on that year with LED center display I don't think it will) , reply HERE and I'll give you something else to try.
