Should I buy 04 Solara 200,000 miles. 1 Owner. Mint car. Am I asking 4 headaches

Well maintained? Toyota? IF you like the car and it's a private sale , checked over by a mechanic you TRUST , then I would go for it. IF it's from a used car lot , I would walk away. Personal opinion on that. Another personal opinion and fact; I like Toyota and my Camry has 330,529 miles on it (minimum of 120 a day). A decade older , but I still see an awful lot of the newer ones that are well maintained get up there in miles without major problems.

Looks like it is already going to cost soon. 200,000, time for things to start costing.

I have one of these and I love it. 263,000 miles on it. Still nothing major. I'd pay $4700 in a heartbeat assuming the thing has had reasonable maintenance. My engine is a 6 cylinder and it has been maintained. I can't say I know how a four cylinder would be. One more thing... how those miles were accumulated is important. Mine had 100,000 miles on it in the first 18 months. 1200 miles a week freeway easy miles.
