What is your question?
Dear friends, There is one common issue in my car (Toyota RAV4, 2006 year, 2.0 engine). Toyota service cannot find the reason. So: 1. There are black buttons on the doors which can help the close/open the doors like sensor (I'm not talking about remote controller). These buttons are not working. 2. Every time clock starts to work from 01:00 when switch off/on the engine. 3. Checking VSC System, Checking 4WD System alarms appear almost everytime at the same time(sometimes disappear). But suddenly last 2 weeks I saw that door buttons are working, clock is working normally and no any alarm. It took about 10 days. And then after 10 days again I saw the same alarms (Checking VSC System, Checking 4WD System) and clock, door buttons are not working. In Toyota service, they said it is due to steering sensor that is why there is alarm (they don't have any idea about door buttons/clock). But I think the issue is not related with steering sensor, because there should be common source which is causing all issues at the same time. I will wait for your answers. Thanks Br Racim

It needs to be scan tested 'while' problem is present!!.... Intermittent open circuit... Just need to find out why... Got to be acting up for testing! Did the dealer find any codes?... IF so, what are the number(s)?
Could be 2 separate issues. IF the steering angle sensor (or part of circuit) is faulty , let them diagnose and repair that , as long as they guarantee that the VSC and 4WD systems will be corrected. Then see if ONLY the radio and door switches remain a problem , and start looking for bad/corroded pin connections in the harness/es related to that circuit.
Actually I don't think that the issue will be fixed after changing steering angle sensor, because all three issues (door switches/clock/VSC-4WD alarms) present at the same time. When the door switches and clock were working properly during this period (about 10 days) I didn't see any VSC and 4WD systems alarm. So it means all these issues are relating to each other. I need your advice if you think which point might be problematic. Thanks Racim
.....nevermind
Thanks for quick feedback. The dealer checked by diagnostic tool while the problem is present and said the issue is related with steering sensor that is why there is alarm. But they could not explain about the rest issues (relation with door buttons/clock).
