Must have hooked cables up backwards...> reversed polarity... It only takes a millisecond to do some real damage... Start checking fuses... Good luck!!!!
START ,by testing power closest to the MAIN power cable connected to the fuse box-- usually a 80-100 amp 'MAIN' fuse , some are 'multi-fuses' can be hard to visually inspect , so best is as pushrod said , use a test light! TEST ALL.
I appreciate your response. The new battery is hooked up correctly, but I will ask my brother-in-law if at any time when he was working with the old battery, he may have hooked it up backwards. None of the fuses that we pulled and looked at looked blown. Would one blown fuse knock out all systems?
Yes... Best way to find a failed fuse is by testing every one of them with a test light.. Key on! .. See owners manual for all fuse locations. .. TEST EM!
