Oh really? the body of that alternator would be a real good ground and that RED wire you took off the alternator stud would be a HOT wire,because it's still hooked to the battery that you somehow forgot to disconnect! NO,that was no accident! it's called something else! NOW,how do you check fuses and they all LOOK ok? NO,not look,TEST, AS STATED IN ANSWER #1!
