Why my car stopped and won`t start?

Car was running fine all day! Got home, engine started running rough then it cut out! Now Engine cranks over but won`t start?? Took Cam cover off! Engine cranks but now movement at cams! Timing belt is not not broken & still has tension on it! Engine sounds like you are cranking it over with the plugs out!!!! No compression! Thought at first belt was broken but is not!!!
