Thought it was a bad ignitor, bought a new one and the same thing occurred. What's causing it the ignitor to burn?

Then if you got the 'ignitor' from autozone or advance , bring it back and get your money back. HOPE you still have your original ignitor! Their 'machine that 'tests' control modules is innacurate for those! Mine tested bad , so I ordered one of theirs , got it in to the store the next day and they tested it - bad out of the box( , got another one ordered and in , it tested good , started and ran (but not as well as usual) , crapped out 2 days later and then I pulled the distributor and replaced the coil , as pushrod says to do , AND put my original ignitor back on - (the ignitor that 'tested bad') Back to its' usual self now- red-lines every day! ONLY 352,671 miles on it.Damn Toyota!
