Replace your PCV valve, clean the throttle body, and wipe the oil that you can reach from the intake.
Agree with lightsaber , also to be considered , how many miles on it? What other maint. (plugs, etc.) has been kept up with?
thank you for your answer,, but I still have a problem three time now , ive had a mech, to replace the rear valve pan gasket but still leaks , what can be wrong , thank you
IF a mechanic replaced the rear valve cover gasket and the valve cover gasket is still leaking , then it should be done again , correctly. IF you mean there's another leak , then go back to lightsabers response and have the PCV system checked by someone qualified. Possible if you have other oil leaks , like cam or crank seals or rear main seal , they could be leaking due to excessive crankcase pressure.
thanks for you help. my car still leaks From the valve pan same place, no scratches , could it possibly be pressure building up in side from blockage or something,, I need help, ty
When the Toyota Avalon / Lexus ES valve cover gaskets are replaced, gasket sealant is also necessary at specific location on the new gasket to prevent leaking oil. My guess is that your mechanic is only replacing the gasket, but not applying gasket sealant to the needed locations on the gasket.
