Is there a difference between the idle air control (valve) between the automatic and standard shifing vehicles ?

Yep,the parts house person can't tell you anything,except what it shows them on their computer.all the parts places only list one IAC valve,and it's states for manual trans. except for one place,it list both manual and auto,2 diff. part numbers,but not available on the automatic.NOW, if you compare the two valves side by side, they are identical! SO,really>all the parts houses listing is wrong but right also. they should only list one,and have a NOTE stating it will fit either A/T or Manual,or their computer should not even ask that question.as Pushrod said,(same part)!
