I changed the waterpump, the radiator, the thermostat, and even the radiator cap. It is still running hot when you drive down the road but don't get hot at idle.

With those symptoms... 'Strongly' suspect failed head gasket(s)... Common problem for Subarus! Personally, based on what I've seen at the shop... I would not recommend a Subaru as a reliable vehicle past 80,000 miles .. Regardless of what the tv commercials imply .. Just Google these 3 words...> *Subaru head gaskets* .. You'll see why!
