The fuel gauge is stuck on empty but the digital readout still works for the miles you can get out of a tank. How do I check to make sure if it's the gauge or the sending unit?

Should be able to have it tested through the right type of scanner (some can trigger the gauge for a self test , to verify circuit function.)
Best thing to do is have the gauges tested with a scanner!!... A professional grade scanner!!... If you know what to do here... Can unplug tank module and gauge should read PAST FULL by default.... with key on.... So, you know what I mean?

Thanks for the help, that's what I'm going to do. Probably gonna be the cheapest and easiest route to go.
