what would cause car to turn over but not fire after changing the serpintine bel

i saw online where that could be a possibility,so i told the guy working on it,he said not to try anything till batteries fully charged,so here i sit 4 hrs later still waiting for permission to touch my car.lol. ive been all over online for hours trying to get it figured out,im a single mother,with a rare brain disease,never worked on a car,but i told these guys same thing at 5 pm tday,i got told to buzz off...girl...wattta nightmare.ah ha hes going to look at crank sensor now. only 6 hours THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYNG! IF I KNEW WAT THAT WAS ID GO LOOK MYSELF!THANK YOU THANK YOU.GOOD DAY SIR

well if it was starting,running,before belt change,what he/they did caused this.changing the belt on that 3.8L engine takes 15 minutes,and thats including washing your hands 2 times,and drinking 1 beer each.ill be up till 4:00 am,let me know how it goes.

im sorry maybe I didnt add that the broke while i wwas driving,i had it towed to my ffriends,the tensioner broke too so it took a lil longer?i guess? im single mom,no experience outside of help desks on google.. now theyre liking the crank sensor idea and it looks like they are going to check that soon as the car starts.seems this snowballed into a battery issue? the belts on,hasnt started yet since new one on. my daughters dad sliced it,thats y it broke. thank you for repling again,you"re a light at the end of my rope thank yo

if the crankshaft position sensor is bad,it aint going to start.

nothing shows on diagnostics about crank sensor.it only says fan relay code1651 and switches1652.its charged still wont turn over. i really appreciate your time

3 things.spark,fuel/air,compression.if missing any,its not going to start.now you are saying it wont turn over.sounds like,baby daddy took some relays with him when he cut belt.good luck with gremlin
