Starting problem just occurred today after it struggled to start this morning after 25 degree night. then it wouldn't start again after driving all day. Everything else, lights, radio, worked didn't dim. it made no sound. Got a jump and still wouldn't start and made no sound. everything else still worked and didn't dim at all? Could it be ignition switch?

More likely a open circuit to the starter or the starter motor itself has failed. Take a hammer and knock the hell out of the starter motor while a helper holds the key to the start position. IF it starts cranking, replace the starter! If that don't work helper didn't do something right! Take the hammer and knock the hel..per up side the .....no wait, check for battery voltage on the 12 ga. wire, NOT the big cable, going to the starter solenoid while helper holds key to start, he'll do it right this time! If battery voltage IS present at this rather large wire, replace the starter. A broken vehicle can be rather stressful i know but it shouldn't be. It's fixable!
Agree with #1. If that doesn't work, if automatic, shake the shifter back and forth and back to park or neutral and see if it starts. If it does, it may be the neutral position safety switch located under the shifter cable on the trans.
