I REPLACE FUEL FILTER,PLUGS,AIR ,PCV VALVE,INTAKE MONIFOLD O RINGS GASKETS,CHECK COMPRE ( 190 EACH CYLINDER ) I ALSO USED SMOKE MACHINE TO CHECK FOR A VAC.LEAK AND NO LEAKS. 4 MOTORCRAFT O2 SENSORS.AND THE IDLE STILL THE SAME

he looks, he shoots from three point range, IAC valve, boommmmmm, nothing but net.
he just doesn't realize or know where the IAC valve is located. if he would read alldata, mitchell or any other repair resource information, he will realize that the iac valve, regardless of throttle by wire or not, is the item that controls the idle.
Just to clear an ass nine remark to both of you,. check the wiring diagram for engine management, which I did before I answered this, and tell me where the IAC is on this vehicle, it is computer controlled through the throttle motor. Both of you.
professorG, I can see where you would think that the vehicle does not have an iac valve from the wiring diagram, as the wiring diagram does not show what is going on internally inside the throttle body, it only shows going to the throttle body. if you go to description and operation of the idle, it clearly states that the idle is controlled by the iac valve, the iac valve is located internally inside the throttle body. professionally and technically, the throttle motor opens and closes the throttle blade on movement of the accelerator pedal only, if you watch the throttle blade of a vehicle at idle, it does not move at all. the voltage on the throttle position sensor does not change at all, therefore the idle is not being controlled by the throttle motor. the iac valve is what controls the idle. sorry for the prior ass nine remark.
Same car, same problems , tried all of what you did also. Turned out to be my cat converter was plugging up on it and causing back pleasure making the car choke .
YES I DO have a scanner, and no codes KOEO (NO CODES) KOER(NO CODES)TODAY I END UP REPLACING THE INJECTORS I THOUGHT MAYBE A BAD INJECTORS, OR SEALS SUCKING AIR THE LONG TERM FUEL NOW IS AT 4 BEFORE THE INJECTORS WAS 9,11,14. I ALSO CHANGE THE EGR DIDN'T DO ANYTHING.... AFTER ALL THAT THE IDLE DIDN'T CHANGE MUCH
Will your scanner perform a çylinder contribution test? Will it do an injector balance test? If not borrow one that will. Good luck with the outcome! Ps, I hope you used Motorcraft parts!
