Isnt $554 plus tax too high to replace OUTPUT SHAFT TURBINE SENSOR?

I had diag run at my Ford dealer. This seems to be a really high price

Is it the output speed sensor, or the turbine speed sensor? Is it a 5spd or 6spd?

As suggested on your other posted question, get another opinion and price quote from a shop that can actually check this out hands on. AAMCO will test it for free and give you a price. (Overlap again huh)

It is "output shaft turbine sensor". I have automatic transmission.
I understand it's an automatic, but looking for the price it prices the 5spd and it also prices the 6spd for the output speed sensor. What problems are you having for it to be tested.
orange "wrench light" comes on after car has warmed up. It shifts roughly speedometer jumps around or stays at 0, cars acts like it might shut down.
Sorry had to run a errand; Ok sounds like the speed sensor, now does it change gears 5times or 6times when driving? The speed sensor for the 5 speed is around $180.00. The labor for replacement is 1/2 hour. The 6 speed trans labor is 1.8 hours. Gotta go
