i assume you are getting a P0401 code? i have had this code before and it ain't pretty where it's clogged up.you will need to remove the throttle body to clean the blocked passages. copy and paste the link.see short video.. 2001 Cougar P0401 code EGR insufficient flow - check ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0EXvumqTZ4
