why does the windshield always crack when a small stone hits the windshield, My passenger's door lock no longer works with the remote, what could be the problem?

first,the crack in the windshield is gonna GROW! NEXT,call your insurance company.some policies cover glass breakage,and the owner doesn't even know it.also some policies,you would have to add that coverage.wont hurt to check on it.
