fault code 0064 sensor appears to work ok displays the same angle deg as right hand bank when running and on a scope pattern matches both exhaust cam sensors perfectly.
check engine light appears to come on when being driven in town but goes off when driven hard

Don't leave this,first have your mechanic check your engine # against the known problems with engines that have balance shaft issues your last 6 digits of your engine # should be greater then 468993.If not you have a possibility of a complete engine tear down.
camshaft adjustment solenoids were replaced by Mercedes with modified ones after engine numbers 759427, not a recall?
in addition these same solenoids are known to leak oil again engines after 895140 have been modified.
