Low RPM speed .cherry red catalytic converter not enough power to drive over 45m

What is your question?

Was driving fine RPM dropped very low no matter how much pressure I pressed on gas car wanted to turn off at stops then catalytic converter and muffler got cherry red hot.

And the trouble codes are ????? .. Very strong gasoline smell from exhaust with smoke? .. Exhaust can easily be 'tested' for excessive back pressure..

If the catalytic converter is cherry red, sounds to me like it's restricted. If you have a buddy rev it up, feel the exhaust flow out the tailpipe. It should push your hand away. If it doesn't I'd suspect the cat

Yeah my brother said he couldn't really feel any .so if I get a new cat would that fix it or would I need spark plugs,coils, are other stuff to get it running better?

Replace the converter and DIAGNOSE the CAUSE for the failure , or plan on replacing the converter again and again.

There was a cut hose from oil cap to the intake next to throttle body connection could air getting in mess it up ?
