What is your question?
It started with an after market alarm that someone installed before I bought the truck. It started going off sitting in my driveway. Had to disconnect the horn on it because I couldn't get it to go off. Battery died so I charged it with 2 amp charge over night. Still wouldn't start. Borrowed a good used battery and got it started and drove it to parts store. Had them do check on it and they said alternator was bad. Replaced it with rebuilt one and didn't fix problem. Had them check old alternator in store and they said it was checking good. Went through fuses several times??? Sometimes it starts, but most times it won't. When it does start, the charging system is very low. ABS light usually on as well as check engine light. Really frustrated with it. Can someone please help?

Have the alarm removed... Just disconnecting the horn doesn't stop the battery drain! .. That only stops the noise!!
agree with pushrod.aftermarket alarm sfail all the time.i have removed several
At least noone could steal it!
True pushrod, that is part of my plan but still wont start with good battery and alternator. I would like to know why the alarm was going off. Was it due to low voltage on the battery or some other reason. It almost seems like something electronic is keeping it from starting. Thanks for the response!
It is something electronic keeping it from cranking/starting. Have the alarm removed, it thinks you are trying to steal the truck! .. Those things never work right when they are new!! You may have to call a mobile mechanic to get it started... It can be bypassed!.. I can't tell you how though, it needs to be done on site with the owner/you present at the time!
I will remove it first thing and yes that makes sense because in disconnecting and connecting the battery cables it will lock the doors about half of the time because it has locked me out more than once trying to work on it. Thanks for your help!
Sure.
