Took battery out to get to oil sending unit on mazda b2000 now it has lost power

CK BATTERY CABLE ENDS FOR GOOD CONNECTIONS

PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN!!!... . Oh yeah... Do NOT touch the cables to the WRONG terminals... If you do it may be like it has lost power..nothing comes on!!
