What is your question?
My check engine light has been on every since I notice my breaks are not stopping my vehicle completely. I have been told that it is the master cylinder, back break pads & roters; Getting all this fix, with this also take care of the check engine light too. Haven't taken it to a Lexus service center yet either. Only a brake shop. Please help!

Get a written estimate and guarantee of their diagnosis.IF they say those repairs will also fix your check engine light , then you should have it in writing , and if they believe they are correct , they shouldn't hesitate. Just remember , you have your LEXUS (I don't care what year) at a 'BRAKE SHOP' for an engine light. The way their techs' (term used loosely) make money is by selling parts and a percentage of the total ticket , in many cases. So a vacuum problem which would be the brake BOOSTER related , not master cylinder. If it matters , do as #1 & #2 say , get codes read and post.
good luck. Thanks for the response.
Thank you so much for your response. My enter mind told me to just let Lexus diagnose this problem for me in the first place :-) Now I have confirmation that I should have listened. Heading to LEXUS in the morning. lol
