The lights on the dashboard are staying on when they try to rest them and it stills gives the same code for that sensor

Most likely the circuit to the sensor rather than the sensor itself. Everybody wants to just replace the sensor without finding out what the actual problem is! The codes are just a reference point to start the diagnosis, not the answer to the problem. IF it were that easy, anybody could do it!! But it ain't!
It's probably the wrong diagnosis, just because it calls for the o2 sensor doesn't mean the o2 sensor is bad, any good or experienced technician knows that.
Yes I am still getting that same code the sensor was a after market one from California So I'm thinking it could be that because we tried the sensor on both sides in the front the passenger and drivers side But ever time they try to rest the code the lights on the dashboard come right back on after like 15 seconds of being off I really need help with this please I hate driving around feeling like I have a lit Christmas tree in my dash .
