either start testing,or take it to an A/C repair shop.and yes,it happens every year around this time when it starts getting hot.need to start checking before it gets hot,in case of problems.not coming on at all? if not, have you tested the fuses?
Does the light on the A/C on off button light up when turned on? .. IF so, does the light stay on steady, not flashing? .. More details needed!
I have same issue its charged compressor clicks on button light stays on not flashing.ive cleaned out cabin filter im about to sell it im sick of this problem.any help id appreciate.
IF the a/c *low pressure line* that's going to the firewall is COLD .. Suspect problem is inside HVAC temperature selection system not responding to the controls inside the cabin.. IF that line is NOT cold .. Suspect problem is under hood .. This is only a suggestion of what the problem could possibly be, without actual hands-on testing, we can't offer much help.
Ty ill check it

Thanks. Yes , the light on the AC comes on ...doesn't blink or flash.. and gobs of hot air blast me in the face. Both radiator fans function and the car doesn't appear to overheat but in this current hot Ohio weather the heat mneedle rides pretty high. How else can I assist ?
Hummm, well the only thing I can do at this point is suggest having the a/c & heater 'temperature control' checked along with freon charge pressures.. Was hoping the light was flashing, If so, I had a good idea what might have been the problem... IF the light is on steady, a/c compressor 'should' be turning on... Can you tell if the a/c compressor is actually engaging when a/c is turned on?
