My steering wheel is locked and I can't get my ignition to turn to start it

*stevieray1* .. I haven't seen many post lately about frying the electrical by jump starting or replacing the battery .. 'in reverse polarity' .. Maybe that bunch of nonsense has passed, at least for now.
