it wont start tank is full of gas
Same thing happened to me. The timing belt broke. Had valve damage. Because I tried to restart it. But doesn't everybody try to restart a car that dies? Cause there are other things that could cause it to stop. I cant for the life of me understand why car companies use timing belts instead of timing chains like Toyota.
Good point!.. ..However Toyota uses timing belts too!.. When the timing belt breaks on an interference engine, the damage is already done!.. ... Valve to piston contact occurs instantly as the engine rotates a few times before it actually stops... By that time, trying to start it really doesn't matter... The real problem is an **interference engine** to start with! All timing belt equipped engines are not that way...and don't need to be!
