usually when turning but always on take off makes a loud grinding sound ????

had rear bearings checked... fine..brakes fine.. has made for quite a while....back tires kinda hop when it makes the noise...dont hear while driving...just starting to drive..grinding,,crunching sound

I'd recommend you take it to a different shop. Possibly a bad u-joint or transmission mount.

POSS BAD MOTOR MOUNT AND FAN IS HITTING FAN SHROULD, THIS IS COMMON ON JEEPS

Has rear diff. been inspected ? Limited slip diff will cause binding in the rear wheels as you describe if fluid is wrong or 'worn out' use only chrysler fluid and friction modifier. Symptom will occur worst on slow turns.

mechanic put that fluid in today for limited slip to try & YES the noise is gone!!!!! thankyou so much for getting back to me.....this has been a huge mystery for awhile!!!
Thank you for your response . Glad you found a tech familiar with that symptom! Always easier first hand , so at least this time I guessed right . Hope others with that same dillema see this post of yours! save them a lot of aggravation!
