need help with timing jeep 3.7

oil filter fell off jeep was drove ten miles assuming with no oil put oil back in it started up but ran rough as hell a lot of ticking and engine noise so I replaced the oil pump now I im guessing I messed the timing up even tho I followed the book jeep will crank and start but dies pretty quick if I apply gas itll stay running but sounds like shit like its gonna blow up with white gasey smoke pouring out exhaust replaced spark plugs cause they were charred and flooded and still the same please help!!!!!!
