I have a question again the dipstick holder came out of the block pretty straight forward don't you think? How or really where on the block does it go.When opening the hood can't see it!!i know it's there I've replaced this part on other cars but this one is so full under the hood i can't see the hole too much stuff in the way can't see it from the bottom of the car either
Nothingbroke haven't you ever replaced a dipstick holder they are all the same they just press in some have o rings but most are press fit I'd think anybody would know that!!!!!
Well DuH ! that's why you have it fixed already and we're just having fun bickering back and forth on the computer!...............and no , not all are simply pressed in.HAVE FUN!

Find out what broke , that allowed the tube to 'come out' of the block.
