What is your question?
I'm not sure why. Tonight I drove it and had 1/2 half tank of gas and when I got home the gas gauge moved up to 3/4 fuel. What could be the problem, and how much to fix it? Thanks.

possible fuel sender float/switch is bad.this is for letting you know how much fuel you have in your fuel tank. it is located in the fuel tank,it is part of the fuel pump assembly, and the whole fuel pump module assembly will have to be replaced.you can still drive it,the pump is still working, just keep plenty of gas in it.it's $350.00-$450.00,depending on body style, and transmission type, manual or automatic.this price is if you buy the part and do the work yourself.
FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT ISSUE. YOU SHOULD HAVE A CODE PERTAINING TO THAT IF YOU SCAN CODES
