What is your question?
I have a 2013 Sonata GLS. I was inspecting my headlights and I've found that though the wiring appears correct from all videos I've seen, the high beam, which is supposed to be in the INSIDE on both sides is lighting up on the OUTSIDE of both sides. What the heck is going on? Better yet, how can I repair this myself? I'm fairly handy.

Owner, Possibly the result of a collision repair, bulb sockets reversed ?
how can that be? your high and low beams are both in one bulb for each side,Part Number H7?
Your guess is as good as any. I am aware the bulb number is H7. I am inclined to think someone goofed at the assembly plant.
what i'm saying,is that H7 bulb is your High and Low beam Bulb.it is a dual Filament Bulb(2 Elements inside the bulb)one Element is High Beam and one Element is Low Beam! one bulb on each side of the car.OR,do you have TWO H7 Bulbs on each side of the car?
'IF' the two outside headlights are on with the high beam indicator in dash (?) and since it isn't likely at all the wires 'inside' the light assembly have been changed .. I suspect *somehow* the main 6 pin wiring connector that plugs 'into' the light assembly has been reversed... That's the only thing that makes any sense! .. Disconnect the MAIN harness connector, rotate it 180° and plug it back in.
Thanks. I considered that possibility and correction. However, the connector is designed to connect only in its present direction. I would have to relocate the correct wires from the connectors and relocate them. I've decided to leave well enough alone. I hope I can find a H7 thin two-filament bulb that can fit within the present parameters. In this case it probably in all likelihood would work as it has since it left the factory in Alabama, even if it is incorrect.
When the high beam is activated, the LOW beam light (on the outside of each light set) turns on. It's not supposed to do that!
There has been no accident recorded and none apparent.
