Climate Control Unit knobs were acting crazy so I bought a new unit thinking this was the reason that my a/c stayed on when trying to warm up. Pasenger side blows hot but even on 90 degrees the AC on drivers side is ice cold !!!

Since you have Dual temp controls, it has 2 temp actuators. 1 for the passenger and 1 for the driver. Sorry you spent the money on the control head, but now you have to replace the driver side actuator. Don't need to tell you, but would have helped if you would've asked. No Worries.
actuator is bad seek diag as to which one and have repaired.cost on easy one is approx 380.00 the hard one is approx 800.00
thank you...... There is so much stuff on the internet. One guy posted that he spent all that money on actuators and it turned out to be that sensor. I tried puttng a $1 bill up by the sensor (the thing on the roof with a bunch of holes) it didnt suck it in or blow it out. It actually sounds like there is feedback coming thru it Might be my imagination.... I have a mechanic in my town that is great and reasonable but I am afraid that unless a dealership does it, a regular mechanic might have to fix it thru trial and error and cost me a ton.. There is a Chev dealership and a Cadillac dealership close by... I might call them
Our 2003 h2 left side a/c blew cold while right side blew hot. Google said to fool system by turning right side temp to 90 degrees. To my surprise it worked, right side blew cold. Then, after a short time, the system corrected. Everything back to normal. I don't get it.
