What is your question?
This is a general question and not one specific to my particular automobile.

In theory, it is "the best practice" as the thinking is - if one caliper fails the other is soon to follow .. Some might also say it's necessary to keep brake coefficient of friction equal on both sides of same axle .. However it is not routinely done due to cost of parts and customers request... 'Usually' replacing the failed caliper is sufficient but the possibility certainly exists both calipers actually need to be replaced at same time... In reality, there is usually no repair protocol specific to every brake repair for a particular vehicle, other than such necessary repair(s) be correctly performed!
