What is your question?
Whenever I park my vehicle on a slope it requires extra effort to shift gears from park and it makes a very loud noise.

Use park brake also on inclines!! It takes some of the pressure of the park pawl inside the transmission and the shifter circuit!! Try this: before you take your foot off the service brake, shift to park then apply the park brake firmly.. Then remove foot from brake pedal... That should take of this!
I engage the park brake and the regular brakes before shifting the gear to Park & do the same before shifting from park to drive. Since my driveway has a slope I have to do this on a daily basis. I face the same problem with my 2001 Honda Odyssey. I would like to know how parking on an incline affects the transmission as my transmission has failed thrice since November 2000, I know this model had a problem with transmissions.
