Purchased a used CRV 2003 and the code card was not part of the purchase paperwork.

Check if there is a 'Service History Book' in the glove box , it may have the code in there. Check if there is a sticker with an 8 digit # on it stuck somewhere on the glove box (may be on the outer edge). Next check inside the lid of the underhood fuse box , sometimes they put a sticker there. IF it's an 8 digit # that is the serial # , IF it's a 5 digit # , THAT should be the code. IF no luck with sticker stuff , then try this.... Turn the radio OFF ...press down on preset #s 1 and 6 at the same time ...keep holding them and turn on the radio and then release buttons 1&6 the serial # should then be displayed in 2 parts , first UXXXX (x= digit of serial #) , then LXXXX , the * digits not including the U & L are the serial # , bring the vehicle or proof of ownership to a Honda dealer (OR post here with VIN # and first four letters of your last name) and the code can be retrieved. Sorry a bit lengthy , hope it helps.
