to order the filter, gives me a response of, "non-servicable repair." Does that mean only a certified Honda shop is able to replace it for me, or am I able to attempt to tackle the replacement myself?? Thanks for any insight you're able to provide. Good day.

it's in the fuel tank,part of the fuel pump module assembly.have to replace the whole module. Complete fuel pump module assembly and strainer. Includes fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator, Sending unit, Float, Fuel reservoir and fuel strainer. little over $300.00 and NO,you can't just replace the fuel filter.
It's NON SERVICEABLE.. period!.. That means it can't simply be removed and replaced as a routine service... Most likely not the problem anyway!
Agreed. It is likely not the problem. And it is not a part that is supposed to be serviced
