When in stop and go traffic the temperature runs hot after which I have to add coolant. Suggestions?

I agree with #1and2 but you said you have to top up anti freeze is the af coming out of overflow because of overheating , if not then pressure test cooling system for leaks

POSS WATER PUMP IS LEAKING WHILE DRIVING OR A BLOCKAGE IN COOLING SYSTEM.ALSO AS STATED CK COOLING FAN OPERATION
