What is your question?
Had to replace my car battery. Now my radio/cd player is not working. The display says I need to enter a code. Looked it up in the handbook and the book says the radio will reset itself in a few days but its been over a week and 1/2 and the display is the same. Can I do this myself or do I need to take the car to the dealership? Thank you.

Turn the radio OFF (assuming not navigation model) press and HOLD #1 buttons and then turn on radio.....the display will give you the serial # , dealer can get code for you with that and proof of ownership. OR look around glove box for a sticker with a 5 digit 'code' or if you bought it new you should have a white card the size of a credit card with the serial # and code on it.
any time you unhook the battery on all hondas, and it has the factory radio in it,you have to re-enter the code manually, before the radio will come back on.safety feature,in case someone steals it. on the newer hondas like yours the code is in the glove box, stamped or printed on a label.in glove box door, its on the inside on left or right side.older hondas put the code on little card in owners manual and everyone would lost the card.just enter code and listen to music.easy
Thank you. The code was attached to the side of my glove compartment and my radio/CD is working now. Appreciate your help!
