Not getting fuel to the front of the car. Replaced fuel pump already Can a fuel line get clogged up ?

can you hear the fuel pump come on in the tank when the key is turned on?
Just curious , but how have you verified that no fuel is "getting to the front'?
yes replaced the who fuel pump...disconnected the fuel line under the hood turned the key over and nothing comes out
i guess the next question is why did you replace the fuel pump to start with? it's hard to kill a honda pump.even when running it out of fuel! i'm assuming you made sure the old pump was bad, even though i was told in 19XX,"DON'T EVER ASSUME"I also assume you have the correct fuel pump module assembly, because they are different for the 2.4L and the 3.0L..reply back to ziptie12,he is a honda Tech!!! a real one! you have 4 cyl or 6 cyl? and what's the part # on your new pump?
4l... I was told you can't test the fuel pump ... The only way was to change it out
That info was wrong, bummer. easy enough for you to remove the access cover and pull the module out again?? And also , unless i missed it , what was the reason for replacement again? Pump did not run at all , or was it the same symptom as now where you hear the pump , but no fuel up front??
Did you resolve this problem? I'm curious to find out if the new pump was faulty from the manufacturer, if the pressure within the system is to blame, or if the issue is originating during the injection/combustion processes within the actual engine itself? I am pretty sure that this motor uses a distributorless ignition process and it relies heavily on many different sensors to control the actual injection of fuel and to regulate the air/fuel ratio in the actual combustion chamber. I may be wrong but I think with this specific setup the key being turned to the on position and not completing the full ignition sequence, will result in not pushing fuel completely through the line or through the rail to each of the eight injectors. I have also heard among backyard mechanic friends that the process this motor uses of only utilizing one injector fully and the second injector of the pair very slightly just to create a more efficient swirl to burn while initially starting and at low Rpms, and both fully at higher Rpms presents a problem within the actual Ecu for the car in higher mileage vehicles, especially if any modifications or major repairs have been made in the recent past to the intake/exhaust system or to the fuel delivery system by someone other than a Honda dealer. Just here say as a said before but it's something to consider. Please let me know what you find out or come up with as a solution. I'm very curious if it's something as simple as an obstructed fuel line or if it's a computational error that's more complicated....
Yes
ok,if you hear the pump come on,where is the fuel going? i assume you replaced the whole unit and all is good inside the tank..fuel pressure been tested with a gauge?
