the dashboard shows a brake light out but all work but one and it is a good bulb

well your dashboard is reading correctly.check power at the socket where the bulb does not work,if its a good bulb.most brakelight bulbs are dual element bulbs, one element for brake,one element for tail light,maybe one element is broken inside bulb.

Could be incorrect wattage bulb or failed lamp-out sensor (in trunk)
