What is your question?
I have had the altenator replaced 2 times in this car. When it is running it runs very smooth. However at times when I try to start it up, it won't start. It will turn over but its like it won't catch. When it does start, I can drive it and it will stall. You never know when it will start or cut off. The battery is good (except I was told the positive connector probably need to be replaced). When the mechanic gets it, it runs smoothly. It has been in and out of the shop for weeks, with the same problem.

There is a Honda tech here that can fix you right up! Be patient. Rest of us can guess at it, but it's hard to beat someone that deals with these vehicles daily! Well maybe not 'every' day. His guess be better than mine!
Check ALL ground connections in the engine bay. Should be one under the throttle body (main) loosen , clean & re-tighten ANY you find , don't just assume that if they are tight , they are good. corrosion likes hiding. IF the battery cable/connector is full of corrosion , you might want to replace, it to guarantee no problem with it. ALSO might check all connectors poss. for good clean fit and no corrosion (pull apart and check)..... HINT if the connector is clipped on a bracket, remove it from bracket before trying to separate, and at that age , spraying a dab of silicone into it and wiggling first may help.
