2 âž– 1 = ... There is only (1) one engine 'coolant temperature sensor' located by the thermostat housing that is used by the ECM for 'fuel adjustments'.. There is also a *coolant temperature switch* located in the cylinder head which is used for temperature guage operation only.. Different parts!!!... â–ªï¸Engine size is always helpful for correct information and location of components!!â–ªï¸
your vehicle has 2 coolant temp sensors. one is for your gauge in the vehicles instrument cluster and the second is for the fan. both sensors are critical to engine performance and decision making for the vehicles computer.
