Question Answered: How due I know what computer to buy
November 29, 2016, 06:17 PM
Your vehicle needs to be further diagnosed. This problem could be related if it is a PCM failure. To answer your question the vehicle's PCM must be removed and the numbers on the PCM must be given to the parts supplier so it can be properly matched but regardless your vehicle will more than likely need some type of security programming prior so the vehicle will start. Some vehicles are Plug & Play in the earlier models I can check on this for you if you would like to contact me at 860 265 3630 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I will gladly answer some questions that may help you my name is Billy
Question Answered: 2000 Toyota Tundra still does not run after changing mass flow sensor
November 19, 2016, 06:40 PM
Thank you for your question I will attempt to answer it the best way I can without actually looking at the vehicle your vehicle needs to be placed on a Scanner with data stream you will be looking to isolate the electrical current at the mass air flow sensor there is a possibility that you have a defective mass air flow sensor Those sensors are sometimes sold as remanufactured you said you had gotten a new mass air flow sensor I would return it tell him it is defective this will ensure that the mass airflow sensor you bought is good or not you are more than welcome to bring your car to my shop free no charge diagnostic my location is 10 Cranbrook Boulevard in Enfield telephone number 860-265-3630
Question Answered: My ABS AND TC lights are on. What could be the problem ?
August 21, 2016, 10:36 AM
It sounds like you are having multiple problems and there is no easy answer through messaging and not visually looking at the vehicle but I can give you some advice your lack of power issue seems to be that maybe your converter is beginning to clog and not allowing the exhaust to escape the engine your abs and traction control light is monitored by sensors at the four wheels there could be a problem in one of those areas as far as your fuel leak that is something very serious as this could cause immediate fire my recommendation is to have your vehicle looked at by a professional repair shop

It is very possible you are leaking at the radiator. But a pressure test would need to be done to pinpoint the leak. These are prone to Leake near and around the water pump area as well. You can stop bye 10 Cranbrook Blvd for a no cost diagnosis.

Question Answered: Blower not working. How do I figure out what is wrong with it?
July 15, 2016, 05:12 PM
Check fuse 1st to blower motor that is your 1st step. If bad replace. 2nd check for power at blower motor. Put fan setting on 4/ high. If there is no power to the blower motor you will need to check to see if power is getting to the blower motor resistor the resistor is in line with that circuit so you can reduce fan speed there is a high failure rate at the blower motor resistor has this device takes a lot of heat during low settings you may call me at 860-265-3630 at automaster service center and I may be able to assist you some more
Question Answered: I am trying to refuel and it keeps clicking as if the tank is full, what do I do

Another possible cause is your gas tank is not venting air wich is required during re fueling air must vent as the fuel enter the tank. This is most likely your problem . Your a fuel gauge issue could very well be the sending unit in your fuel tank

Seeing smoke or steam coming from under the hood can absolutely be a a water pump issue upper and lower radiator hose issue or heater hose issues the vehicle overheating is due to lack of coolant or the water pumps inability to cool the engine the vehicle should not be driven AZ head gasket damage will occur
