well that changes things.if it was not a 2 seater, there is an access panel under the rear seat, but forget that.you do have to drop the tank, because you have no rear seat.i assume you need to drop tank for fuel pump replacement,if so have you double checked everything?fuse, relay, inertia switch?
i can not find any info on removing the tank.except the fuel tank in your vehicle has to wrap around the driveshaft so that is why you have two pumps. One just pumps fuel from one side of the tank to the other. This pump would only give you a problem when fuel level is a 1/4 or less. The pump on the drivers side is the transfer pump and the right side is the fuel delivery pump.have you tried a haynes or chiltons repair manual?sorry i can"t help.
try www.alldatadiy.com.i think it is 26.95 for a one year subscription.i have used this several times.it shows detailed info on everything on your vehicle.a lot of shops use this.it was a very big help to me.the only problem that has been reported on your car, that i found was the 15amp fuse for the fuel pump blows.also i know that you said you checked the inertia switch on drivers side kick panel, just make sure the red button is pushed down or no power will flow to the fuel pump.good luck.
