Strut replacement?

What is your question?

Is this as easy as I'm imagining? Remove the top mounting bolts,loosen the clamp at the bottom,and misc attachments,and it just pulls out of the control arm with enough clearance? Then I put in a quick strut or have my auto parts shop replace the strut unit itself?
