has gas in tank. started for a couple minutes won't start at all now. My notion is fuel pump,fuel filter. Your thoughts?

id go ahead and change the filter either way. while your doing this, before you put the line back on, take a container, put it under the fuel line, turn the key to turn the radio, fan, etc on but dont crank it. do it pretty quick, about a full second. if fuel came out, the pump works.

is the fuel filter by the pump?
i believe on that car its either under the driver or passenger door, or in a clamp attached to the firewall under the hood.
