starts up but won't go in gear.It's been running fine had no probems. Any advice would be great help, thanks.

I think you must mean wont start out, when shifted into gear.? Possible low trans. fluid, restricted fluid flow from dirty filter in trans or broken parts inside of trans. A common problem with this transmission is a stripped input shaft or torque converter splines. Trans. mechanic needed to check it out hands on!
