every ford has a manual way of opening the fuel door.have you looked in the trunk yet for the emergency pull cord,same side as fuel door?

you know,i've got one of those and i use that rascal.it says Owners Guide on the front of it on one of the books in the zip up pouch.1st page it's got a thingy with a page number for the index and just all kinds of stuff!

Yep, even with all the troubleshooting and repair information available at the shop .. Every now and again I still have to pull out the owners manual for a particular vehicle to find what I need .. ('IF' it's in the vehicle!)
